Q: How much time will the website migration process take?

A: We do not collect any sensitive data. We’ll require, however, the login info for your old web hosting account along with the name of the web site that you would like to move.

A: While we migrate your web site, it will be available both in your hosting account with us and in your account with your old web hosting provider. When the migration is done, we will make certain that everything is functioning correctly and that the integrity of your web content is not affected before notifying you that the migration is done. Then we will explain to you how to move the domain over to your hosting account with us and how to edit your DNS settings.

Q: Will my current web hosting provider need to provide any information/assistance?
A: While we transfer your website content, your hosting provider won’t be aware of the migration at all. We will not contact them in any way.

Q: Does it make a difference what platform my current provider is using?
A: Yep. We support all common Linux–based web hosting platforms. We don’t support Windows–based hosting platforms, since we don’t provide Windows web hosting services ourselves.We also don’t support proprietary website building and administration interfaces like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
